Prize Distribution Ceremony

A Prize Distribution ceremony was held on October 20, 2009 at St. Anthonys High School which was presided over by Auxiliary Bishop His Lordship Sebestian Francis Shaw. The Bishop was warmly welcomed by the Principal and staff of the school. Razia Yalmaz Award (RY Award) was also distributed among the best achievers in the ceremony.

Mrs. R. Yalmaz was a very well reputed and extremely dedicated teacher, who served this institution for 34 years. After her death on 31st July 2007, her family wanted her name to remain alive in St. Anthony’s High School, so they introduced Razia Yalmaz Award (RY Award). This is a cash award of Rs. 10,000/- each to be awarded to the highest achievers in Mathematics and English in O- Level syndicate examination.

Mrs. Nighat Parveen (Sister) and Dr. Yasmin Rashad were present to give away these awards. The recipients of this award were Hassan Tahir for Mathematics and Ahsan Gondal for English.
